Facts about New Alexandria, PA

New Alexandria is a small borough located in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, roughly 35 miles east of Pittsburgh. The community is known for its quiet residential atmosphere, surrounding farmland, and access to nearby outdoor recreation areas.

Like much of Western Pennsylvania, New Alexandria experiences humid summers, frequent rainfall, and cold winters with snow accumulation. These seasonal weather changes can increase soil expansion and hydrostatic pressure around foundations, raising the risk of basement leaks and moisture intrusion.

Because many homes in the region have older foundations or varying drainage conditions, preventative waterproofing solutions play an important role in maintaining long-term structural stability.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. As new homeowners we were not expecting to need to address water in our basement so soon into owning our home. Jim and his team at Ark Basement Services came recommended and after doing a walk through, and getting a thorough explanation of the work to be done, we booked an internal French drain service. The team was prompt, thorough, communicative, and efficient during the work period. We have had several rainstorms since the drain was installed with no water coming into our basement, which has brought us great relief. Would highly recommend Ark Basement Services for all of your needs !

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We requested an estimate for a problem in our basement. Jim came to our room very promptly and was extremely professional in his presentation. We were going away and requested that the work be done before we left, or after we returned. Jim got us on the schedule within a week. On the appointed day, Jim arrived early with a crew of 3 workers. David, David and Cory. They started immediately and were very neat. Plastic put up to protect the room from dust. The work was performed in one day. Extremely satisfied. Would use them again.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We called ARK Basement Services when we noticed foundation cracking after the long, cold winter we just had. Joe Rosa was very knowledgeable and gave us an affordable estimate to install carbon fiber straps in our basement area. The installer, Bob, was such a hard working individual and completed the job in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend ARK to take care of your basement problems.

A basement issue, be it water intrusion, foundation instability, bowing walls, or any issue in their area of vast expertise, is a personal mission to correct the problem and improve their clients' lives. Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. ARK Basement Services have earned my trust and confidence in their services. ARK completed my job yesterday, and I am impressed. First of all, I was very pleased with my estimate, as it was the most fair that I received. Jim, the owner, met with me and explained exactly how he could solve my foundation issues. Jim oversaw the entire process, and I appreciated that. Matt and Spencer proved to be absolutely up to the job. They arrived on time and they worked nonstop until my job was completed. They respected my home and delivered a First class waterproofing job. I am a very happy person, and I know that I made the right decision when I chose ARK.
