Divert Water Away From Your Foundation and Basement With a French Drain
A french drain is a trench that redirects surface water and groundwater away from an area. It is usually filled with gravel or rocks or a perforated pipe. The purpose of french drains is to prevent groundwater or collected surface water from permeating and damaging foundations and divert the water from where it should not be.
How Do French Drains Work?
French drain systems are designed to be installed underground. The water runs into a trench filled with gravel, then into a perforated pipe at the bottom of the trench. The water then runs freely through the pipe, which results in a safe distance from the surface and from your house.
Exterior and Interior French Drain
There are 2 different ways to install a French drain – buried around the external side of the foundation wall or beneath the basement floor on the inside perimeter.
Each drainage system is customized to meet the unique needs of your home and property. We offer affordable French Drain and basement solutions while preserving your existing lawn and landscape.
